Before the month of April passes by, let me share with you at least my desktop calendar. Val and I have been away for too long without an internet connection, thus the long overdue post! Anyway, here’s a lovely one from shabby princess and the shabby shoppe team.

The photo I inserted was taken quite recently.. the day we arrived back here in Cebu. It’s good to be back!

I can already feel the summer heat, especially at night. These days, I often think about going to the beach, and it’s only March! That’s why I’ve chosen a summer bright desktop calendar for this month.

The photos I chose for this calendar were taken during our trip to Logos Hope, the largest floating “book fair” in the world!

I rarely ever win anything in my entire life! But to my surprise, I received a SMS a few weeks ago telling me that I’m one of the lucky winners of a Human ♥ Nature gift pack from the Read The Label Challenge. I did recall joining the said contest so I got very excited and sent them an email right away. Yesterday, I went to claim my prize and this is what I got!

I’ve been using the feminine wash for a while now and I actually like it and don’t intend to use any other, so I’m glad I won’t have to buy another after I run out. The lotion is something I’m excited to try. It smells so good! Can’t wait to finish the one I’m using now. And the lip balm, I’d probably give to a friend or use as a tester for my customers. I already have one in Choco Fudge. Yummy!

It’s Valentine’s Day again. I hope everyone’s happy, no matter if you’re in or out of love.

My husband, Val, and I didn’t really do anything crazy special today. But we did spend the day together watching movies, cuddling, talking, and dancing! Yep, we danced.. not the romantic kind of dance, but the crazy wacky dance. We just think it’s more fun that way! The things we do for love… and when we’re just by ourselves. LOL!

Anyway, here is Val’s gift for me, which he gave me a couple of weeks ago.

Logos Hope, the largest floating “book fair” in the world whose purpose is to bring knowledge, help and hope to the people of the world, is in Cebu City, Philippines.

It is open from Tuesday to Saturday at 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Entrance fee is only Php 20.00, while kids below 12 years old may enter for free. Val and I went there last February 2nd.  Read More »
