Our 2nd Wedding Anniversary

Val and I started our day very early. We went to hear mass to thank the Lord for the 2 wonderful years in our marriage.

This was me and Val 2 years ago on our wedding day.

It was a very memorable event, one that Val and I would recall with felicity and talk about until the rest of our lives. This is me and Val today.

The Day of Hearts and Lovers 2012

It’s Valentine’s Day again. I hope everyone’s happy, no matter if you’re in or out of love.

My husband, Val, and I didn’t really do anything crazy special today. But we did spend the day together watching movies, cuddling, talking, and dancing! Yep, we danced.. not the romantic kind of dance, but the crazy wacky dance. We just think it’s more fun that way! The things we do for love… and when we’re just by ourselves. LOL!

Anyway, here is Val’s gift for me, which he gave me a couple of weeks ago.

And my gift for him? SECRET!!! ♥♥♥

Sinulog Festival 2012

Finally, Val and I were able to experience Sinulog Festival on the streets of Cebu City! Thank God for bright weather! Although, there were scattered rainshowers throughout the day, I believe it’s Sr. Sto. Niño’s little blessings pouring down on us.

Val and I had no idea where to go or what to do, but  by just walking around, we saw a lot of people, mostly kids, in their colorful costumes street dancing or waiting for their turn to perform. People were also into body and face painting, they’re all over the place! Here are some of the interesting photos that I took that eventful day!

Simbang Gabi 2011

I am so proud that Val and I completed th 9-day Christmas ritual often known as Misa de Gallo or Simbang Gabi. It’s not easy to wake up before dawn nor take freezing cold showers, but we’re hoping that our little sacrifice be worth it. May God grant the deepest desires in our hearts!

Here’s a photo of Our Lady of Fatima Parish Church in Alta Tierra Village, Jaro, Iloilo City, where we heard mass on the 1st 2 days of Misa de Gallo.
